I am overwhelmed by the love of God today. I have never had a Valentine’s Day like this. This Valentine’s Day is dedicated to my relationship with God. He is love(1 John 4:8) and has taught me how to love him in return. His love has propelled me from being anti-hell to pro-heaven. This move is a shift that makes me desire to spend time in his presence and live according to his standard because I love him, not because I’m afraid of what will happen if I don’t. There’s a big difference. This difference represents freedom and joy. It represents a Christianity that isn’t’ an unattainable burden. It’s a transition into a life of meaning and hope. It’s a place where my existential questions are answered and his choice of my parents and childhood are finally understood.
